On Glazes”
An introduction and explanation of
working with these decorating techniques. Participants will be given a glazed tile on which to create their own example.
Lustres and on glazes will
beprovided and the tiles will be fired. Participants are asked to bring their own brushes

Friday, April 20. Time 9.30 –12.30
Marentia Jordaan presents “Working with lace and related textures”
We will explore the wonders of transferring patterns and textures onto leather hard and wet surfaces, while also working with slips in conjunction with the laces.
We will make a slab object and tiles. Participants must bring a thrown pot for transferring patterns onto.
All other material will be provided.
